Why teachers use it
- Self-paced units. Five structured units from on-the-hour to to-the-minute — every student works at their own level, no two need to be in the same place.
- Perfect station activity. Bite-sized lessons fit a 10–15 minute rotation, and the app runs itself — no teacher driving required.
- Clicks with visual learners. The hands-on clock and audio questions reach students who struggle with abstract worksheets.
- Nothing to manage. No student accounts, no logins, no passwords. Hand out iPads and go.
- No ads, no distractions. Built for Apple’s Kids category — there is no way to wander out of the app.
Deployment that respects your IT team
I Can Tell Time supports volume purchasing through Apple School Manager and deploys cleanly over MDM. Because there are no student accounts and learning works offline, there is nothing to provision and nothing to sync. Our March 2026 update (v3.4.3) specifically improved the school deployment flow based on district feedback.
Privacy by design
Student progress lives on the device — we don’t collect student personal information, and there’s no cloud account behind it. The paperwork your district needs is ready:
