About I Can Tell Time

Last updated: March 2026

Why we built this

Kids were struggling to read analog clocks. The apps that existed were either full of ads, too complicated, or just boring flashcards. We knew there was a better way.

So we built one. An app where kids drag clock hands, get instant feedback, and actually want to keep practicing. No ads. No accounts. No internet required.

Who it's for

Kids ages 4–8. That's the sweet spot when clock-reading skills develop. Whether they're in school, homeschooled, or just curious, this app meets them where they are.

Parents, teachers, and tutors use it too. It's a tool that works in the car, at the kitchen table, or in a classroom.

What we believe

Learning should be fun

If a kid doesn't want to use it, it doesn't matter how good it is. Every interaction is built to feel like play.

Safety isn't optional

Zero ads. Zero data collection. Zero internet required. Your child's attention and privacy are protected by default.

Details matter

Every screen, sound, and interaction was tested with real kids. If it confused them, we changed it.

What makes us different

  • No ads. Your child gets an uninterrupted learning experience. Period.
  • Fully offline. Works without internet. Great for car rides, planes, and anywhere without wifi.
  • Hands-on learning. Kids drag the clock hands. That physical interaction makes the concept stick.
  • Built to build confidence. Starts simple, adds complexity gradually. No kid ever feels lost.
  • Real rewards. Badges and certificates celebrate progress and keep kids motivated.

Our story

We're parents and educators who saw kids struggling with analog clocks. The existing tools weren't cutting it. So we built something better.

We worked directly with kids to design every feature. If they got confused, we redesigned it. If they got bored, we rethought it. The result is an app that kids genuinely enjoy using.

Today, families and classrooms around the world use I Can Tell Time as part of their daily routine. And we keep improving it based on their feedback.
