Elapsed Time

Elapsed time is the amount of time that passes between a start time and an end time.

Calculating elapsed time means figuring out how long something took or will take. For example, if a movie starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 3:30 PM, the elapsed time is 1 hour and 30 minutes. This is a critical math skill tested in schools from 2nd grade onward. Children who learn analog clocks first tend to understand elapsed time better because they can visualize the hands moving around the clock face. I Can Tell Time builds this foundational understanding through progressive clock-reading practice.
